Welcome to Cherry Class and the exciting start to your time at Booth Wood Primary School. We are looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome to the Autumn Term.

At the beginning of the day a member of the team will welcome the children into class.

The children will be encouraged to self-register by finding their named pebble and putting it into a pot, to find their peg and hang up their coat, to put their book bags in their drawer  and then choose an activity to undertake. We will be there to help, it is a lot to remember!

At the end of the school day we will let the children out as we see parents/carers. As we are still getting to know you this may take a little time please bear with us we will get quicker. If your child is being collected by someone else please let us know.

We have PE with our Sports Coach Mr Wolfe on Tuesday mornings. Please ensure your child has suitable, named indoor and outdoor PE kit in school.

The children are enjoying PE lessons with Mr Wolfe. The lessons aim to develop

co-ordination and balance. There is also  a focus on teamwork.

Forest School

Forest school is an inspirational process that offers everybody the opportunity to achieve and develop confidence and self esteem through hands on learning experiences in our on-site woodland. Our Forest School sessions are on Friday mornings.
