Welcome to Holly!
Class teacher - Miss Knowles
Teaching Assistant - Mrs Reed/Mrs Clarke
Our topic this term is:
Dungeons and Dragons
We are also going to be looking at some fantastic medieval stories, such as: ‘Rapunzel', 'The Princess and the Pea', 'The Sword in the Stone' and many many more. We are also going to be learning about how castles were built and the different materials that were used. We will be building our own castles in our My Way homework and sharing these in class.
We have got so many fantastic and exciting things planned; it’s going to be a wonderful second term!
Things to do at home
We have PE every Friday morning. Please ensure your child has a suitable, named indoor and outdoor PE kit in school.
Things you will need
Please ensure all clothing is clearly labelled with your child's name so that we can try our best to return any items if lost.
Our door is always open if you need to discuss anything or simply want to find out more please talk to us.
Useful websites to try
We teach phonics every day in small groups within our classrooms. It is a very important aspect of the Early Years curriculum and will really support your child's reading.
Helping your child with their number recognition and 1:1 counting can really make a difference.
Play these fun games with your child: patterns, sorting, shape recognition, music, PSED and counting.
