Science Week 2023

The week beginning 13th March was an exciting one at Booth Wood as children took part in science activities throughout the week. The theme of this years science week was 'Connections' and there was lots going on.


Some classes got involved in live lessons with the NFU and learnt about farming and the connections it has to our daily lives. All classes had a look at different scientific careers that 'smashed' science stereotypes. UKS2 looked at fingerprints and connections between neurons. Whilst LKS2 build seismometers and looked at connections between hand washing and bacteria. KS1 had fun looking at connections between colours.
